Questions about Custom Orders:

Do you paint any breeds or any other animals? Yes, I can paint any  pet you have. Please inquire as I may have examples.

Can I have more than one "friend " in the painting? Definitely! who wants to be left out ?

Do you paint from photographs? Yes, photos are a great idea, especially if your dog has certain markings or a little quirky expression you would like to capture. Just remember that I do not paint realistic portraits. My creations are  fun and whimsical. Please email or send me any pictures; I will return them with your completed order. 

How much does a "Custom Painting" cost? Email me your ideas about your painting and I will email you a price quote. Each painting  is an original.

What type of medium  do you use? I use watercolors or acrylic paint. Custom watercolors are painted on Strathmore cold press 140 lb watercolor paper. Acrylic paintings are either on stretched canvas or canvas board. *Note*  Stretched canvas paintings can be hung without framing.

Can you paint my pet on wineglasses? I can paint your pet on any item you see on my site. Custom stools, glasses, treat jars, etc.

Can you give me an idea of what sizes you can paint? Standard sizes are…8x10, 11x14, 16x20, 20x24…and up! A really good idea is to look at where you would like to display your painting in your home or office. Take a big sheet of paper (wrapping paper works well) and hold it over the spot where you would like to see YOUR custom piece. This will give you a good indication of what size painting you need.

Can I pick the colors I want in my painting? Yes, I think that the customer should have as much input as possible. Maybe you want to pick up the colors in your couch or bedroom. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

How long does it take to create my painting? Allow two weeks from the order date unless we are in the "Christmas Crunch". To be on the safe side around the holidays…. Don’t wait and order early !

How do I pay? Prepayment is required with all my work. I will email you a picture of the finished painting and then upon your approval I will ship.
